Follow up to Yesterday's Message from the Ramapo Police

As a follow up to yesterday’s message from the Ramapo PD, I was just attended a conference call with Governor Hochul and representatives of the state government involved in policing and security..

The Governor noted that no credible threats are have been identified.

NY State has Increased State Police patrols around the state and increased Police presence on SUNY campuses  The State is coordinating and sharing information with local police departments.

The Governor also noted that a lot of inaccurate information and disinformation are being shared on social media much of which is part of organized disinformation campaigns, so don’t believe everything you read.
