Powder Horn (Beatrice) / Buena Vista Path

The Village has received several inquiries concerning the snow fencing and paint markings that have appeared on the Village's paved path that connects Buena Vista Road with Powder Horn Drive.  The fencing and markings are related to the new development that is being constructed between Powder Horn Drive and Rockwood Lane.  People have expressed concerns that they will lose access to the path as the construction proceeds.

I want to assure our residents that I have met with the developer and that the needs of all our residents will be respected.  If at any time during construction, the existing path will need to be blocked, the developer will maintain access by installing a temporary path so that this vital connection is not disrupted.

As a bonus, the developer will be repaving the entire path once they have completed construction in that area.
