How to spot and avoid post-disaster scams

As a follow-up to my previous email concerning the FEMA declaration for Rockland County, I want to share the following link which was brought to my attention by one of our residents.  It has very good advice on how to spot and avoid post-disaster scams.

We are still waiting to see if the disaster declaration will be expanded to cover assistance for individuals and businesses and will put out a message if it happens.
