Attention Homeowners or Business That Were Damaged in the July 9th Storm
Rockland County received a Federal disaster declaration for damages from the heavy rainstorms that struck on July 9th. While the disaster declaration approved only municipal assistance and assistance to some non-profits, it did not cover assistance for individuals and businesses.
Our State and Federal representatives are working to get the disaster declaration upgraded to cover individuals and businesses and are asking people to fill out a form that will collect information that they can use to push for an upgrade.
If you had damage from the storm please access the form HERE. Additionally, if you have made or will be making any repairs, please keep all receipts which may be needed if disaster assistance for individuals becomes available.
