Wesley Hills Crime Alert

The Ramapo Police informed me that 2 cars were stolen and several cars had items taken from them over the weekend.  In the cases of the stolen vehicles, the cars were left unlocked with the key fobs inside.  In the cases of the theft of items the cars were also left unlocked.

I know Wesley Hills is a generally low-crime area and it is easy to be lulled into a sense of false security, but crime can happen anywhere, especially crimes of opportunity where the crime can be committed without much effort on the part of the criminal.  This is not the first time this type of crime has happened in our Village and the surrounding area and will likely not be the last.

Please safeguard your possessions, by keeping your cars locked when they are outside of your homes and not leaving valuables in your cars.
