A Message from the Director of Fire and Emergency Services, Gordon Wren, Jr.

It is important that all Rockland residents know how to protect themselves and their families in the event of an emergency at Indian Point. That is why the Rockland County Office of Fire and Emergency Services has teamed up with the New York State Emergency Management Office, Westchester, Orange and Putnam Counties and the operators of the Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant to prepare a booklet with you in mind.

The booklet, Community Planning for Indian Point/A Guide for You and Your Family, provide vital information on how you can be prepared to respond in the event of an emergency. I encourage you to carefully review this information with your family members and keep this booklet in a familiar place for easy reference.
